Default Auto Headlight Sensor Replacement?

Hi all,
I have a 2006 IS350. From time to time, if I leave Auto set for headlights, they drain the battery overnight. Obviously the lights are staying on all night. I cant find the part number or any how to's to replace the sensor, next to the defrost vent. Just looking for a nudge in the right direction.

I looked online and the forums, but maybe I'm not using the correct terminology?

Thanks Jeff- what I was wondering is HOW anyone has replaced this? My year IS has that defective dash - so my dash is perfect but didn't want to try to pry and scrape if I cant get it out from the top side.

Options as I see it (easiest to hardest):
  • Nylon pry tools- pop out from top side?
  • Remove center stereo and screen stack for access?
  • Remove entire dash pad (no way :-) )

If anyone has been successful in an IS, changing the sensor please LMK!
