TPMS light won't communicate
Hey guys, my cars tpms light came on with my summer tires arpund 4 months back, but would go away after it rained, then came back the next day. Thought the batteries in the sensor went out. When i swapped to my winter rims, the light went away but came back and has been on ever since. I was thinking about getting the sensors changed but the lexus mechanic said that the tpms module isnt sending any codes or saying anything. Is the tpms module actually bad or is a sensor causing this?

TPMS are a drag.
Its a defective unit that's not able to keep a charge. Probably need to replace battery in unit. ask which tire (tpms) is not sending a signal and replace that one. Most auto places don't know what their doing when it comes to TPMS. From my experience Firestone after just replacing one tire said my TPMS could are not connect. I was like they all just worked before I got a flat. This idiot don't know what he's talking about. I went up the street to another mechanic and they programed them real quick. No problems. it's just a hassle to deal with

Is the Tire Pressure module plugged in? The module/receiver is located above the navigation display or HVAC control panel.
