I don't need help, but an advice would be nice - Coilover geometry
Hello,
I'm interested in changing my coilovers for the Lexus IS300 mk1. I would not slam the car, because it would make the car literally un-usable for me, but reducing the eight of 1,5 inch.
I'm curious if, by light lowerings like those, require changes in the geometry (camber ? ) should be taken.

Any amount lowered will change the alignment. Camber will go negative and changes to camber throw out tow as well. "Tow out" as camber goes negative. I don't think it will be bad enough that you need to buy adjustable arms to make it perfect on the camber and caster settings. Most people want a little more negative camber for handling improvements anyway. But you should have it aligned because tow will be off too once lowered and that is what will eat up your tires.
