Torn between building stock GE or swapping to a GTE
Title. I have a bone stock '03 is300 that I eventually want to start doing some work to. I have been lurking this forum for some time and other things looking at other builds but having a hard time deciding if a GTE swap is the way to go or build the stock GE. Could I get away with not having the oil squiters that the GTE block has at lets say 500 horse or does the squiters really make a impact on cooling down the pistons?

I think those hp goals are obtainable with just the GE Motor, just depends on your turbo setup. Ideally if you want to go further north of 500+ you might wanna just go for the GTE setup. I'm currently on a stock GTE motor, Built GE head, precision 6766 470hp on pump gas and SRT trans
