My First Lexus - 2001 IS300 w/ 149k Miles
Greetings, all!
I'm fairly new to the Club Lexus forum but no stranger to forums, in general. I've been a member of RX7Club.com, The V8 RX7 Forum (forgot its name), LS1Tech.com, Honda-Tech, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few. I'm on car #19 now and just picked up my first Lexus today. It's a 2001 IS300 with 149k miles, perfect interior, perfect exterior, and runs so incredibly smooth. I've liked these cars since I was around 13 or 14 when Lexus first introduced them back in the day. I've always wanted one but of all the cars I've purchased, just never seemed to be able to find an IS300 I liked - most were beat up, salvage title, or overpriced. Well, I began my search a couple of weeks ago and ALMOST bought a black 01 but didn't because of the work it needed. I'm very glad I did because I found the one that's now in my driveway just hours later on Facebook. Here it is! Picked it up for $4,800 here in Fort Worth, TX. Looking forward to learning a lot about these cars and meeting some of you. Take care!

Thanks!
Haha, thanks! Yeah, luckily my wife is only 5'3 so she has plenty of leg room. Looking forward to our little having a forward facing carseat but since she just turned 1, I think we have another year for that?
BUT, I did take myself and 3 of my friends to the Rangers game the other night and everyone had space. Not bad!
