Shifter light

Hey guys my 2006 IS250 shifter light by the Gear shift is out I spoke to the dealer they are saying you have to change the complete unit I don't think so can anyone help on that Thanks

Which light do u refer to? I have a friend that changes all cluster, radio and small leds..
