AC controls - temp reset?
 

Hey guys, i've done some searching but can't seem to find anything similar to my issue:

The AC on my 2002 IS300 worked fine when I bought it 2 months ago. Then a week ago I removed the HVAC control unit in order to install a new Alpine headunit radio.
Once I plugged the HVAC control back in and started the car, it was blowing warm all of the sudden.

I found that it will blow cold air now but ONLY if I have the knob cranked down to about 68 or below. Anything higher and it blows heat. I live in Texas and it's summer so the temp guage must be off.

Does anyone know if unplugging and replugging the AC control unit back in causes the temp knob to get out of sync? The other knobs (fan speed, vent location) still work correctly.

I'm baffled by this one. Thanks!
