MAF sensor code..please help!

I have changed the sensor and the plug for the MAF. The filter is clean, as well as no debris in the intake piping.

What is next?

how does the car run? sputter out? idle fine? rev to 3k then stops?

It sputters at low idle. When I give it gas to take off, it is like it cuts out, then just goes all of a sudden. At high RPM, it is fine.

try disconnecting the MAF sensor and starting it. i uninstalled a Apexi - neo afc from my Lexus on Monday and had the same issue it wouldn't hold the revs. the MAF was bad and when i disconnected it from the ECU it came to life but wouldn't reving past 3k due to the fail safe tune built into the ECU. if that works the MAF is bad even if its brand new.

Okay, thanks. I will give that a shot. I also have a new temp sensor on the way. Trying to do the cheap fixes first.

i get it. I have too many projects as it is, this Lexus just fell in my lap. now im trying to clean up the mess someone else left me. if you disconnect the MAF at the intake it will do the same thing. check under the lid for the ECU as well make sure no wires are melted or cut. the other issue i found online when i ran into my problems was the TPS. might want to look into that as well.

Thanks for the additional info. I'll look into it.
That's kind of where I am with this car, except for it is my own fault. I bought the car sight unseen off the internet. Showed up with a lot of issues. I've spent roughly $2,500 on getting it to where it is now.

But I just LOVE the car. When it is running correctly, it is fantastic.

let me know if that works or makes it worse. Id like to know what the issue is if that's not it.
