4th gear not working
I'm looking at a 2002 is300 with a 5spd mt, the only problem is that it consistently pops out of 4th gear. This isn't much of a problem for me as my dad and I will see if it's fixable and if not I can replace the transmission for about $600. I was just wondering if this is a common problem? Or if you had this problem were you able to fix it? I'm thinking it might be bushing/linkage. Thanks

I'm looking to buy a manual is300 as well.
That's pretty cool if a transmission job on these is only 600$.

Well idk about a transmission job but you can find a used is300 tranny online for around $600 and my dads a master mechanic so we would replace it ourselves and save a whole lot of money.
