New to the Forum and to Lexus...
Hi CL,
I've been lurking on here for a little while now and I finally got around to joining. I picked up a 2005 IS300 back in April of this year and so far I have been enjoying it. She needs work though, mainly body and interior cosmetics.
Right now my main focus is on my fenders. The previous owner trashed the passenger side fender and the drivers side fender is an aftermarket fender that is not sitting flush (I can tell it isnt right), and there are dents in it. I really want to stick to OEM, but I refuse to pay full price for brand new fenders, and I am having a heck of a time sourcing used ones around me.
Right now I am leaning towards extreme dimensions' duraflex fenders. Normally I would never consider any fiberglass parts but being these are fenders and not a front bumper I figure the risk of cracking these are minimal (road debris, curbs, ect.) I know they are a certified vendor here, but I would like to hear from those who have actually used them, especially their fenders. Also any help on sourcing a body shop to aid in installing them would be great. Thanks in advance.
