Hi there. I recently purchased a 2006 lexus is250 awd. I was reading some threads and it says that if i do not have memory seats, then i dont have HIDS. I decided to check for myself but i am still not 100% sure. I have attached some photos which i believe are the ballasts and wires for a hid conversion kit. Can somebody please tell me if they are or not? As i want to switch the light bulbs out. Thanks!!

the '06 IS 250 doesn't come standard with HIDs, not even the '12 models do.

You know the difference between Halogen and HIDS? The Halogen is a warm 3000k color, the HID IS 4300k. When you turn on your headlights if it changes kelvin, you got HIDS. Usually when you turn on HIDS it goes 6000k and drops down to 4300k.
