How to take front wheels off IS300
Hi all,
New to the forum and I need help in changing the front wheels. I just got myself some new rims and tried to install. Rears are easy. Fronts.....took lug nuts off but rim still stick to the disc. I noticed the center piece (towards the inside of the wheel) seems to be some sort of locking mechanism. And its weird shaped so definitely need specialized tool to open. Does it sound like a shop-only thing? Thanks |
Take a hammer and hit the back of the rim

take off lugnuts and give the tire a really good kick....
the wheels is probably slightly seized to the rotor. there is nothing else holding the two together besides the lugnuts. |
Yeah just kick the tire on one side it would come off after that clean that part it may be i little rust good luck

pbblaster works wonders

after a long winter i have that problem with my stocks, i just take a rubber mallet and hit the tire on the bottom to force it off but not too hard to damage anything
