Does anyone have the EBAY strut bars front and rear by any chance(orange color)? If you do please give a review on them. Is it worth the 100 for it? if it doesnt do that much of a difference id rather cough up the extra money and get the tanabe front underbrace or the sway bars. i dont wanna spend like 4-500 on front and rear struts.

 

i bought these strut bars you are talking about and they do wonders. they stiffen the body and allow you to corner faster. buy the front and rear set together, its worth every penny.

Sway bars will make the most noticeable difference. I honestly didn't notice a big difference after F&R upper strut bars (PLP up front and cusco in back)...but I already had coilovers at the time. I believe THMotorsports is selling Hotchkis sways for $350 shipped.

 

I was planning on getting sways later on during the year. I am on coilovers (megan racing ez) as well but i can hear my chassis flex when im going up driveways, speed bumps, etc. I bought a used tanabe rear under brace for 75 bucks picked up which made my chassis stiffer but still creaks/flexes when i 3 wheel. Thats why i was just going to get the ebay strut bars to stiffen up the upper part of the chassis so it doesnt creak/flex. My plans for this year was to just finish off my suspension parts such as struts, sways, front under brace, and maybe the greddy rep lip the one that everyone has.

 

The ebay one tend to break at the welds.

do u have any pictures of it broken and how it broke? if not then i cant take ur word for it on it breaking at the welds unless theres proof....

Are your upper coilover mounting studs shorter than stock? My Apex coilovers' bolts were on the short side, and the TCSportline STB wouldn't fit. I ended up buying a JIC STB and returned the TCS.

 

Slap on the front and rear Tanabe under braces! I just put them on and damn... The difference is enourmous!! Feels like a totally different car.

yeah i already have the rears but not the front =[ couldnt find a deal on the fronts like i did with the rears. made a big difference with the rears only tho. cant wait till i get the front one

 

i would trust ebay for strut tower bars. not struts though...
