With nearly 250K miles, the offer seems excessive, especially when you can buy newer IS's with fewer miles, for that amount. The Kelly Blue book for a 2002 IS300 with this many miles and in excellent condition is <$6,800. The added options are negligible and often can cause more problems than they're worth at this millage. If you just want something to play around with (tear up a bit?), I would go cheaper. My vote--

I randomly went to a city on Craigslist to look at random is300's and I saw this lol. I also say to pass this up, the Dollar:Miles ratio is pretty crazy. I bought a 2002 Clean title is300 with 120k miles all maintenance records on lexus.com for 6.5k. That's half the miles and 2.5k to spare on my on mods.

I always wonder about cars that have been completely repainted.

And I also always wonder about any car that's been re-engineered. The more re-engineering, the more likely one is to have trouble down the road, especially if the re-engineering was designed to increase power or lower the suspension significantly.

Agreed, look elsewhere. More mods/more done to it, in my eyes = less value

You have a 08 AMV8 roadster and an 08 Maserati quattroporte S-GT...?

You might as well just get a pair of IS300's just for the hell of it.
And chop the roofs off and crash them into each other just for fun on your lunch break..

just sayin
