Question is it possible?!

Has anybody attempted to switch their steering wheel over to a quick release but still manage to get the e shift to work? I'm really curious. I try searching it up but nothing came up. guess no one have done it before?

what aftermarket wheel would have built in buttons?.. sounds like a custom job to me i.e. mounting buttons and wiring
