would you buy an 04 model, with 50,000 miles at 15g asking price.

It's gotta be in immaculate condition, clean record, one owner, and up to date with maintenance.

Agreed. I bought my 04 sport design in August 2009 for 15,000 so I'd try to bring it down a bit more.

i would rather get a 06 with 60k miles

Test drive 06, then test drive 04, then decide what you want for $15g's

2nd gen IS looks too similar with all the other cars out there. imo. Great car for sure but too many of them everywhere!

06 for 15? maybe with a 100k miles or with accidents.

besides those 2nd gens have too many issues. a gazillion and one recalls.

i bought my 03 for 15k 2 years ago next month BUT mine was lexus pre-owned certified and had new brake pads, new rotors, new yokohama tires, new timing belt, new serpentine belt, trans flush and filter, brake fluid flush, coolant flush, etc.

so you decide....
