I had 1 master key for my 02 IS300 and bought a blank key from ebay ($80) Got it cut for $20 ( was hard to find locksmith that can cut our key, a few wanted $40).

It took five minutes to program the alarm and transponder. I followed these instruction:

It worked, only thing is that the Key I got, the housing and blade was new, but the innards (transponder / alarm) was used. Couldn't find the innards new expect from a dealer ($150). Out of the three buttons 1 had an icon of a trunk where the "panic" is on my original master. It locks/unlocks and starts the car but no panic.

I also watch the machine as it cut my key and they guy said that he's cut Lexus, Acura, BMWs without any issues. The dealer is just trying to justify why they want to charge an arm and a leg .

^^^like "needis" said, as long as you have one master key you can program another master key yourself. I would just have the dealer do the one key for the $350... you're already lucking out with the tow included... wish my tri-state dealers were cool like yours
