That's how I got the car. And being that there is no gasket in place, I'm guessing it didn't come with one. I'll roll the dice on the stock gasket. It's cheap anyway. Thanks again.

update:

that was indeed the gasket. its much better now [noise and smells] with the exhaust spewing out of the rear instead of under my seat.
