question regarding tinting.... How dark? dont want it too dark. I'd like it to look like it came out of factory almost i think... anybody have mirror tint like the rx300 on their IS? im thinking bout tinting, just dont know either mirror or regular tint, and how dark if regular tint.. Lets see some pics!! Thanks--

 

I tinted my MSM IS at 35%. Check my sig for pics.

Legal? haha... Not a fat chance. Especially in Cali...

I think you can call DMV or your local Sheriffs dept. They can tell you. Also, most qualified tint places are up to date on the laws in your area.

 

I have roughly 40% tint on the sides and about 30% on the rear window. The pics I have aren't great for judging the darkness, because they were taken with the sunroof tilted open.

i just did my silver mirror tints today...i have a silver ls4...it looks beautiful at day...and at night its like regular tints...ill try take some pics...the tints are still drying imma give it a good 3 days so i dont get bubbles or anything.

 

I have a GS4 and live in Va. Of course the only problem is the front passenger windows. I don't think you can tint the windshield at all but the front I believe you can go with 35%. I just decided to get all of the windows done that way. Had it like this for 3 years and no problems even with speeding tickets. Hope that helps.

 

what color is your interior, i think that depends alot on the tinting. i have black interior in my MSM and it looks tinted.
i say if you have black interior gun untinted
