Congrats on the IS300. Welcome to CL. You'll find everything you need to know about your car on this site.

What are your plans for the car? Saw the pics of the IS after running the red light. What did you clip or hit to cause that much damage?

I was at a green light going into the intersection, out of the perpendicular street came a nissan exterra which ran the red light i swerved and brake, and he ended up clipping my front fender along with the bumper. The bumper was much worse at the scene than it is now...it's being held up with two 3/4 hex bolts and couple of zipties. Plan is just get the car fixed with a whole new paint job at this point

That looks painful. Glad it was only a minor damage.

I hate when peeps put Super Bright White signal bulbs in the rear. When your behind them, and they use it. Its like a blinding flash, like your getting your picture taken. WTF is up with that??

Welcome to CL. Sorry to see the car took a beating already. If you get a new paint job, will you stay with the Millennium silver or go with something new?

Welcome, sorry about the damage, but I know what it is like, I had to have my bumper held on by duct tape for a while after I hit a deer!

I was suprised to that the lenses didn't crack, all they got was a scuff, but the headlamp is pushed in, and the headlamp bracket needs to be replaced. Either way i'm getting a new passenger side headlamp
