Default good's & bad's on is300

I am thinking of buying a is300 here in the near future. I want to know the goods and the bads on this car. And, wich ones had the better made motor from 2001 to 2005. I would greatly appriciate everyones comments, opinions and advise. Thank you.

It depends on your application.....whats your plans for the IS
Drag, Drift, Show, or just family car

I use mine for VIP SHOW and drifting and i'm pretty happy with it
the only thing that i really dont like is the lack of trunk space
other than that i'm happy.

As far as engine offcourse 2005 will be somewhat superior than the older years cuz thats where they fine tune all the problems from previous years and fix them, but power wise i think all of them are about the same... I have an 03

hope i gave you some usefull information

and if someone can confirm or deny what i say please post up so that i can correct myself =P

Well...if you're goin for a daily driver...its a defenitely a nice drive
the supspension takes everything i felt like i was on clouds and almost fliped
my car taking it home from the dealer.....so the first i changed was the suspension
but thats goes with my application as well...

Sorry to hear about your SC and at the same time welcome to the IS community if you do get it
