Talking Diy: Oem grill painted

SO I AM GETTING RID OF ALL THE CHROME ON THE CAR AND BLACKING THIS CAR OUT. SO TODAY I PAINTED THE GRILL.

STOCK OEM 2001 LEXUS IS300 MODEL GRILL

PRODUCTS: SOME FINE (600 GRID) SAND PAPER AND SOME PAINT FOR CARS.

STEP 1: SAND DOWN THE CHROME AND AS MUCH OF THE GREY AS POSSIBLE.

STEP 2: 6 LIGHT COATS (4 FRONT, 2 BACK). 1/2 HOUR BETWEEN COATS.

BACK ON THE CAR. WILL GET BETTER PICS ONCE I WASH MY CAR. BLACK IS ALWAYS DIRTY.

OH AND THE END OF THIS SUMMER ONCE I BUY MY BODY KIT I AM GETTING A FULL NEW PAINT JOB. SO IGNORE THE ROCK CHIPS.

HERE YOU GO!!!!

The black grill looks clean! Wow, your bumper and hood has went through some beating! Ouch! Post some pics after the repaint! =)
