Resurrection of a lexus (new member) pic heavy
Just wanted to post up to say hey i'm new 
. i just traded my 1995 vw gti with 125,000 miles on it for a 2002 lexus is300 5 speed. It was a straight trade cause the guy wanted a running car and the is300 sat for 2 years. his screen name on here was coolis300. Basically he put alot of money into the car and along the way somebody mixed some wires. the car is in limp mode and the cel light is on because of a high and low voltage to the mass air flow and the throttle body. i work at a european car shop and our mechanic is going to check it out this week. he has checked the car out before and gave a really quick diagnosis as it being the ecu or the harness.
here are pictures of how the car sits currently. i'm going to flat black the car and put regular tint on it

wow, the hell's up with that paintjob
so you traded your working 95 vw gti with 125,000 miles for an is300 with some electric problems with 23,000 miles?
if you can get it to work, that's a pretty good deal.. no?
