Looking into buying a used IS, seeing a lot on sale with around 60-80kmiles. How dependable are these cars after those miles? I know it all depends on how it was taken care of and what kind of miles, highway or not...but just wondering if that would be a good investment to spend 16k-19k for a nice car like the IS but with that many miles.

60-80k miles is nothing on the 2JZ. As long as it has had it's proper maintenance, these motors have hit 300k miles with no problems.
