Extreamly Annoying AC noise in '02 IS

Extreamly Annoying AC noise in '02 IS
There is a very annoying noice that is caused by the ac that I am wondering if you guys have heard..
If I turn the ac on low I hear the sound. Works everytime. The Lexus dealership I bought the car from thinks its normal but is willing to look at it again in the future after he listens to some other IS's.
Do any of you hear what im talking about? Get in your car and turn off anything that makes any noise then turn your ac on the low setting and wait a minute or two. There should be a whining gurgling noise to the right of the gas peddle where freon is being release though a valve. This sound is very loud as far as im concerned and annoys me to no end while sitting idle in the car.
Anyway I heard it again in an '01 IS300 loaner car I have today so this makes me think that this sound is in fact normal. If so I cant believe I have not heard this complaint out of others yet.
