Talking Comprehensive 0-60 Times

This is one of the most comprehensive lists of 0-60 times I have ever seen.

Unfortunately it’s depressing how badly the is300 gets beat by such cars as the VW gti, Mazda Protégé { I mean zoom zoom LOL }, Honda Accord, Honda Civic, the list goes on and on. But, I clearly didn’t buy my is300 for purely performance/speed, because lord knows I could buy a faster car for the same amount of money spent on the is300. Anyway, take a gander, interesting.

OK, so those pocket-rockets turn good 0-60 times and handle well........so what? Would you rather take a 500-mile trip in an IS300 or in one of THOSE? An IS....especially with the softer all-season tires...is a MUCH better cruiser...and much quieter. As you yourself said....you didn't buy an IS to go drag racing.

Agreed. In the end, a car's true performance is NOT unilateral. It is a combination of acceleration, handling, comfort, and what I call "garage appeal". We'd all like some improvement in quarter-mile performance, but give me Road Atlanta any day and I'll be happy as a clam.

oh btw... i mean regular rsx not type s.... if it is 7 seconds i'm sure its may be for the manual (which i still doubt) but if it is... then that means that they didn't post the 0-60 time for the is300 manual (which i slike 6.2)

.1 of a second hardly means anything.

also that only gives you 0-60. what about 60-80. compare those numbers.

is300 5 speed won't be that fast. 6.2 that's the speed of the tl-s and the 330ci. is300 5 speed is around 6.5, i have read that in a lot of reviews. plus i had the tl-s, and my is300/5 is definitely slower
