Default Choosing a new car.

Hey people. Just wanted any opinion on these cars as my lease for my IS will be over in a couple of months. I have the choice of either financing my current IS which I am the only owner since I've had it since new. If I finance i will be putting some minor mods such as a DVD pioneer navi, window tint and air intake. My other choices would be either the Mitsubishi Evo or the WRX Sti? Any opinions or advice would be great.. thanks

The Evo and STi are great cars...but they are FAD cars. The IS300 is a timeless vehicle where-as an Evo or STi will eventually lose its appeal after time.

if you want sheer power, get the evo or sti. if you want a tiny taste of luxury, get something else

The IS is an entry level Luxury car, the EVO and STI are econo rockets. Completely different animals.

What aspects do you enjoy out of driving cars? We can make better recommendations based on what YOU like.

I'd suggest test driving these cars to see what you can live with or can't live without.

Thanks for the replies fellas. All of what you guys just said are true and makes my decision alittle harder. I know that the IS has more luxury and convenience than the evo or sti. I hear what you saying flipside about the IS being timeless. RMMGS4, I have had my IS for almost 3 years and have enjoyed driving it alot. My friend just got the evo and it's an amazing vehicle. I live in nyc and to tell u the truth if you live in a place where it snows you will be quick to learn that the IS will be parked in the driveway. Being that i'm only 25, eberyone is telling me to go and lease other vehicles b4 settling down on just one car. I throughly enjoy driving manual and be that the evo and sti are just rockets out of the gate, there appealing. I am definately gonna test drive the sti before my lease is up.. I know it's gonna be alot of fun car shopping though..

Ahh yes, that makes more sense. An AWD vehicle for you would be the most feasible in the colder months. Is the A4 appealing to you? That's definitely a great AWD option for you if you want to stick to luxury. It's a win win situation for you.

Hey flipside. The A4 is alright... I'd rather get another IS to tell u the truth. My friend has the A4 and I found out that my IS has better punch w/ almost as equal luxury..

how bout an infiniti g35 awd? that would make a nice city car with minor minor mods such as a DVD pioneer navi, window tint, and chrome rims. it's roomier than an is, evo, or wrx and fast enough.

...mmmmm, I like the G35 AWD. There are finally a few bodykits out there for this car along with some limited performance goodies.

G35 is a great car if you don't mind having an engine found in other cars like the Altima.......a Maxima.... a Quest, a Z....zzzzzzzz....

well, i don't see what's a big deal about that though. as long as the engine is good and proven that's all i care. heck the same i6 is found in is300 and the gs300, that doesn't mean the gs300 owners should cry
