Hello Everyone

The hybrid battery of my car is completely depleted to the extent that it can no longer start the engine. I checked with techstream and I do not have any code coming up. The 12v battery is a new one so there is no question of auxiliary battery being the culprit. I live in France and the nearest lexus dealer is 15 miles away and the dealer is of no help as they do not have the equipment that recharges traction battery and they have to make a request to lexus to rent the machine and then only they can recharge it. Can I charge the car by putting in D and towing it with help of another car to charge the hybrid enough so that it can start the engine? Is this feasible or just waste of time. Any suggestions that could help recharge the battery enough to start the engine will be welcome.

PS: To activate recuperation you need to turn ON the hybrid system first (IMHO)

 

Yes but lexus has told me that they do not have equipment to charge the hybrid battery. They cannot help me in this case.
