Driver's side mirror 2016 ES300 H
My electric mirror stopped tilting left and right. Lexus dealer wants over $1,000 to fix it. OUTRAGEOUS. Any suggestions? If I have to move it manually I will, but would prefer to fix it at a reasonable price. Thanks for the feedback!
Mine can still be adjusted side to side but will no longer go up and down when I put the car in reverse. It is also 2016 ES 300h.
I have not reached out to the dealer yet in part because I did not want to hear the high price tag to fix it! I like the comment one person suggested about going to a junkyard, but I’m not sure I would know what to do with a replacement mirror once I bought it!

jberry: the dipping in reverse function is enabled by pressing either the R or L mirror selector.
When the selector is not on either R or L the dipping is turned off.
You should adjust the mirrors to the best "backing" positions while in reverse.
Note: while the memory position 1/2/3 feature will recall mirror/seat/steering wheel positions,
the reversing "dipping" position is not saved with them; it is the common position for all drivers.
