Oil change Required soon 2016 ES 300H
 

I 'm a new owner of this 2016 ES 300H with 75K KM"S (45K Mi.) & this change oil soon indicator showed up on the dash. How many miles or time between oil change ? I bought the car from a dealership in june with 70K. I read that the synthetic 0-20 oil lasts 10K Mi. or 1 year between change.

You’ll find a lot of different responses based on personal preferences of between 5k-10k miles. I like to do it at around 7500 to stay on the safe side using a full synthetic.

Thank You. I just found the dealership record of the certified pre owned maintenance & the oil was changed in March at 70K. I now have 75K. It appears that they have set the reminder at 6 mon. or 6K. A little overkill. I'll take your advice & wait a little longer.

Does it actually say "oil change required" or just "maintenance required"?

Maintenance message pops up every 5k miles, oil change is required every 10k miles. You can reset the message yourself - all the info is in the owner's manual by the way.
