Default UV Glass

Just to verify, Toyota came out with UV Protection Glass in 2011, so a 2008 RX400h occupant would be unprotected. Is this correct? My 2008 still has all original Lexus glass.

thanks...

I don't know, but a window tint even a clear one could be added to give you that protection.

The glass has always been pretty good at UV reduction, from 2006 on.

But not IR, unfortunately...
I tinted all windows (except the windshield) with IR-protected film, and I really feel the difference.
PS: Now I'm looking for clear film with IR-protection for windshield.

I've done this for both my cars - it does help.
