Ihave got problem with gearbox on toyota highlander hybrid 2006 . gear D wont feats ,and car dont want drive when i press
gear shift more to position B wehicle start to drive .On positon R goes propely . One year ago i replaced gearbox from lexus rx 400h . Previous gear box had leaking several times and got damaged
I wonder to bay new gear box p310 from lexus and replace it. but im not surre if i can use II generation gear box from 2009 ? Or maybe there is another way to adjust gear. I tried to adjust cord fastener on gearbox side , but withaout any positive results.Maybe is one thing to be written that when i replaced gearbox i filled wit too much fluid . after few months i got leak . I removed all fluid and fill with right quantity of fluid atw ws 3,9 liters. After was driving ok for several months until i got problem with falling out D gear. I put the car on techstream and it does not show anyting.
Maybe someone have advice what to do in this situation .
I lives in Poland and i sorry for my bad english.
p.s i changed inventer to.Maybe this is important information also.My car is 2wd limited version with 3,3 l 3MZ\FE.engine ,P310 transaxle

I had problems getting the vehicle into the right gear after I was a snowstorm. After a hot car wash it was resolved. I think I had snow or ice on the selector cable.
