Just bought of Craighs list. Has 91k miles -looks to be in great shape.
Any body have any insight on any special care for the hybrid battery? other common issues tha should be addressed?

Nothing to do with the hybrid battery, just get in and go. I did have to have mine replaced 4 years ago under warranty, the dealer said I was the first battery they ever replaced and there was no explanation as to why it failed. We use our car now as the date car, just hit 80,000 miles and it is as quiet as the day we got it, no squeeks or rattles. Drives down the road averaging 27.5 mpg for the past 3,000 miles when I last reset the meter. I have replaced the 12 volt battery twice but that was a quick in the driveway thing. Have 2 sets of tires replaced, the original and now the second set, still showing great wear left. Hope you have a blast with the new to you car.

Thanks for the encouragement! So far so good. 24..4 mpg first tank, 60% highway. Will send VIN to dealer to see if any recalls were issued and or fixed. Still trying to figure out how the blue tooth works. Got my Samsung not 3 to pari, but still fiddling.
Any advise on tires other than the michelin premiers that are on it now?

Other car is 2002 lexus rx 300. still going strong at 223k. Still on orig. tranny! How do I tell if i have enough points on forum to list in the classified section.

I got Goodyears about a year ago, an all season. They are quiet and improved the ride dramatically. I'm at 130k on my 400h

Note also, I believe the hybrid battery is now warranted up to 200k miles, upped several years ago. I've heard pricing of $2-4K to replace it if it dies, but it should be warranted

Might check wheel bearings in rear. Will need a timing belt around 100k if it wasn't done before. Then spark plugs around 125k....back three being the hardest to get to.

Otherwise, a great rig and congrats!
