No! You have it strapped on the tonneau cover latches and may break them. I installed my factory net per the instructions, which have you drill a hole in the wall on each side to mount the anchors.

Yikes, drilling holes. My net did not come with anchors.

They lock the tonneau cover in place when it's pulled over.
