Very nice car Chilton88!
Been away for a while and recently looked at the GS hybrid F sport just like Chilton88 has in the Atomic Silver or Silver.
Been researching the past 2-3 months and I'm aware this car does not exist in California except it has to be order, my questions to Chilton88 is, did you have to ordered this car or were you lucky enough to coincidentally ran into this car? And a broader question for all of the people who have had experience from having to order a car from Lexus, from what I was told by the salesperson is that the incentive or rebate program applies at the time when your car arrives, not at the time of the order was placed, meaning whatever incentive or rebate programs are running 3-4 months down the line is the incentives and rebate you will get if the car takes 3-4 to arrive at the dealership from the time of the order.
Any truth or accuracy to what the salesperson told me? Thanks in advance and appreciate any input or feedback.

hi shurik....well yeah. I’m just using a dealer tactic on the pricing. In reality I would be happy to get 30 K for it. Trouble is though is that since this is a niche model Lexus it’s hard to find any NADA guide or Kelley blue book that matches this car with its features.
i’m in no rush to sell my GS 450 H, but I’m willing to sell it, or trade it for the model S with money from my side.
there isn’t any GS 450 H is in the premium addition here in the Northwest and I’m hoping that that will add a certain cachet to the pricing.
Kuni Lexus here in Portland is selling one, identical in appearance, a 2015 model without as many features as mine for $47,000.

I’ve looked at Tesla’s. Just not too impressed with the interior. I mean, tech is roughly the same as my 15’. The p100d would be nice - especially to go bananas and unleash all the dogs, what’s the equivalent? 750hp? Still, I’m just fine in mine. Good luck with your sale.

I just drove a model SP 85 and that was rated 0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds pretty good tech for me.
Your 2015 in my 2013 450’s have similar technology, but this tesla without any buttons, blow them away and I consider the interior of the Tesla without any buttons very, very high-tech.
How could this picture of the interior not feel slightly in the future?

Yeah. I have actually. Shopped them a couple years ago.
I don’t mean to say their tech is sub-par. It’s excellent and yeah. Performance is just silly.
The wait, the price per watt, and the amenities. Not enough to sway me off the 450h.
*and I like buttons personally. Not that I don’t like some digital glass cockpit stuff but ***** are nice too.

The interior finishing of the earlier Tesla models was very average for the price class. Have they improved on this? I personally never liked the huge screen for some reason.

I saw a list of ‘amazing’ Tesla innovations on a click-ad-bait and the 10 they had listed all basically mimicked the 450h. I’m sure the level and depth to which some of the operations worked were different and subjectively speaking better or worse. Still. For me, the 450h easily got the nod.

Hey MustangSal, I notice when you have posted response recently, I see weird characters from your posts. See my screenshot below of your post above:
I'm a big Tesla Model S fan. I love the tech and think it's a very capable vehicle with a lot usable power (if you think the torque in our hybrids is good, think about having that initial boost at just about any speed).
I've driven a few different Model S variants.. but all have been 2015 and below models. As mirto pointed out, I would be curious to see if Tesla has improved their interior game with the recent models since that's where I think they fall behind the competition in the luxury sedan space.
