2008 RX400h Cargo Cover Doesn't Fit Headrest Posts
 

I just bought a 2008 RX 400h and the dealership gave me a retractable cargo cover because the original was missing. However, the little tabs that are supposed to fit the backseat headrest posts are too small - I can't get them clipped on. Did they give me the wrong cover, perhaps?

There are 2 different covers with different clips you describe. One for RX made in Japan and one for RX made in North America. Hopefully your dealer can switch you out.

thanks for taking the time to answer! I actually found it in the storage compartment under the hatch floor! HAHA! Can't believe the dealership missed it!

And my sales rep didn't know about the Japan/Canada thing with the circumference of the headrest poles. But all is well now! Thanks again.

We also found a 2nd cover in the storage after we got home from the dealer. I forgot about that. IIRC I was able to sell the 2nd one for around $150.
