Yeah, I've seen others with this same complaint. This is probably why they changed the design starting in 2016. I'm just glad mine don't exhibit this issue. Keep everything documented with the dealer, as it seems you have. Good luck!
The seats in G37s (and even mine) are known for the same issue. I notice I can mitigate it by where I position the seat because it forces me to sit "better" in the seat based on how far/close I put the seat to the steering wheel, etc.
I think its a crapshoot, especially with real leather. Its going to stretch, shrink, wrinkle, etc because its a natural material. Our ES doesnt show these symptoms (yet, anyway) because it only has 1K miles and my wife is very petite.
The other thread mentioned the foam being too soft....this was a conclusion on the G37 forums as well. If the foam were more firm, it wouldnt indent from being sat on. Oddly enough the weight of the driver doesnt seem to matter most (within reason... a 100lb woman would probably take a lot longer to perma-dent the leather than a 180 lb guy), I think the posture in the seat is a bigger deal. As a rule I also try to make sure I dont have anything bulky in my back pockets while driving...I put my wallet in my front pants pocket.
Of course "they dont build em like they used to" probably comes into play.....the 2003 TL we replaced with our ES350 had no indentations in its leather, even after 12 years and 125K miles.
