Which to buy? '12 450h AWD or 10' 2WD w/less miles?
Hi All, new to the forum, excited to be purchasing a "brand newused" RX 450h. Im stuck between two and I could use your advice:
2012 AWD with 67.5k miles,
2010 2WD with 54.0k miles
Buying from dealer. Both are:
-Same price
-Certified by Lexus
The only difference I see is that the 2010 does not have Enform, and I'm not even sure if we'll use that. Other than that the 2012 AWD is Black on Black, the 2010 is Dark Gray with Light Gray interior
Originally I wanted to the 2wd because of the +2mpg, but now Im thinking the AWD because its newer and has the roof rack rails (which we could definitely use).
Any recommendations? Downsides to either? Any differences I'm not seeing?
(FYI we've test driven plenty but haven't seen these particular ones. They are about 45 and 100 miles away respectively, so we'll be taking a trip down that way this weekend to look/buy. Not looking to come back empty handed!)

I would take the 4WD without hesitation. Although the additional weight related to the third motor generator may have some impact on the fuel economy, the 4WD regenerative brake is more consistent, the towable weight is greater, and the traction is better especially on slippery surfaces. I may add that even the 4WD maximum speed is greater. But probably this last element is not a decisive one

Question of older car less mileage and FWD, or newer car, more mileage and AWD.
