I'm trying to figure out which way to go now. My battery has given me codes 3x now. I clear and they stay cleared for days to a week. Seen POA80 once and POA7F 2x. I'm working on driving on electric enough to force it low, and then it seems a tad better after.

I just don't know if the Green Bean route or rebuilding myself or what is best yet. Or even getting something like the Prolong charger be worth it.

Anyone try a charger/ discharge yet?

Well Its been a year and so far everything is working great. I now have about 180K on the car as I'm now driving about 80 miles a day.Gas mileage is were it should be and the acceleration is great.

Not sure Ill be keeping her much longer though. Lexus has even made me a pretty tempting offer on my last visit.

I'm up to 1 POA80 and 3 POA7F trips in 5-6 weeks, all since I have had my GS450h. The POA80 was triggered when I was trying to force it to run on battery in the subdivision. Hasn't been back. The POA7F codes seem to come at random while I am driving.

So the plans on getting a rebuilt battery at some point. Leaning towards Greenbean due to the lifetime and transferreable warranty. But plus there.

Any thoughts/comments/issues? As much as I want to go through it myself, its more of a down time issue.

talk to the guys at greenbean, the owner/head engineer or something like that was very helpful with my situation and saved me a few $k. I almost bought the battery from them but he advised not to and just get the aux battery (that I also needed). the car has been running fine ever since. (knock on wood)

1. Do you remember the phone number that you called?
2. aus battery is 12v battery under the hood?

I see nowhere close to 500+ miles range with a refurbed battery. Anybody else seeing these numbers?
