Default Excess of lubricant...

A copule of weeks ago I have had the periodic maintenance check done by the Lexus delar, with the usual oil& filters job. I didn't use the car till today, and after returning home I've got the inspiration to check the oil level (warm engine after 15' rest) and look at what I have discovered:

Apparently, there is some excess of lubricant in respect to the MAX level notch.
What do you think?

The difference between the two dots usually represents about 1L/Qrt of oil. In this case, the amount over is quite small (~150ml), I personally would not worry at all about it. Just as a guess, but I think it would take maybe 2 L/Qrts or more before there would be any issues.

My dealers (VW, BMW, Lexus, Dodge) ALWAYS manage to overfill the oil.

While it annoys me that they can't seem to get it right, I never seem to need to add oil before be next 5,000 mile oil change.

For the work I do I have the mindset to look for the root cause of the anomalies. It is coming to my mind that when it's replaced the oil filter has to be filled with oil. In fact, Lexus makes a difference in terms of lubricant needed when the oil filter is replaced, and when it is not. 6,1 l vs 5,7 l, i.e. 0,4 l difference.

It could be that... no oil filter has been replaced, although the "oil filter" item is there in the bill. It could be not for the cost, (just 8,70 euro) but for the labor, maybe the technician was too lazy for doing it. Or maybe I have a too suspicious mind..

However I've dropped an email to the dealer, with the pictures attached, asking for explanations. We'll see...
