And as you said if you drive the car hard and at higher RPMs the oil consumption is worse.
I called my local Lexus dealer and they said it's normal. Being slightly paranoid, I put the car on a lift at the corner tire store and looked underneath, no sign of oil leaks either. I'll continue to monitor oil level just in case it's a piston ring or PCV issue.I'd say going over passes at 15,000 feet makes for hard driving... I also remember some oil loss on my previous trip. Good thing it's not an Audi! 😋
