Default Best tires I have had on the car.

My car: 2006 RX400h with 110,200 miles. I recently had installed Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring 235/55R18.. These are by far the quietest, smoothest riding tires I have had on the car. Tread wear rating is 580. I paid $134 total per tire.

Any noticeable change in gas mileage with the new tires?

Haven't checked gas mileage yet. Have had them less them a month, and weather is much colder since then.

Hard to judge about any change in fuel economy since installing new tires. Have had spells of cold weather.

Have the CS4's currently on the car. I think it's been on for about 12k miles are so. Really like it. Really quiet. Had good years, michelins, kumhos, now the CS4's.. liked it so much that I bought a set of Cooper RS-A for the G35.

If the Micheline PS A/S 3 doesn't come out of back order status soon, I will be order Cooper tires for the LS.

P.S. makes sure your Cooper tires are made in the USA. Mine was... I heard some models are made in China... no thanks.

I have Bridgestone Ecopia 422 from Costco for over a year now. I can say I like these more that OEM Michelins that I had for year and a half. I drove over 27K miles on them and my last year average MPG is 27.5. I keep Costco recommended pressure - i think they inflate it to 30 psi's

Back from the dead ... Hope this helps.

"I just purchased 4 Cooper tires for my '13 ES350. I went with the CS5? Ultra Touring. Less than $500 out the door , with warranty.

I have the stock, optional 18s. 225/45 . Stock suspension with the two front struts replaced right before the wheels. Alignment done at the same time. Chassis has 90K miles; I have had the car since 72k . I am located in Frisco, TX.

I love the ride. About 1000 miles thus far and they are very quiet. I drive 80% highway andall across the DFW metroplex. I see ALL kinds of roadways. I have been very happy with the quality and soft feel."

I have been running the Michelin Defender series tires, and I am extremely happy...Quiet, and long wearing. Warranted for 80k miles. Put them on my Ford F150 also, doing well there too.

What's the best all-season tire for dry pavement as well as heavy inclement weather for RX400h?
I hear Continental TerrainContact A/T is pretty good, anyone have them?
