Still shopping for my ideal pre-owned 450h and have seen a few Black Opal Mica listed, but I'm having a tough time getting a good feel for what the color really looks like as the pics basically look just black and no google search seems to show a good representation of the color either.
Is it a dark navy color, dark purple-looking color? How does it look in person? Can anyone chime in?
And what model year had this color, just 2009, or did it go to 2010 too? (those are the model years I'm leaning towards...)
I appreciate the insight as there are none of this color anywhere near my area, and I think it was a 450h specific color, so i can't even look at in on a 350 or anything. (I have seen a 350 in Black Sapphire Pearl, but that's different).
I have an 08 GS450h I just picked up yesterday and the color according to the used car dealer is Black Sapphire Pearl. But its a 450h, and lexus.com confirmed by VIN it's Black Opal.
It is black, but is a very dark blue or purple. It is a cool color.
