Worst gas milage
Hey guys,
Strongly considering getting a used GS450h and curious what is the WORST gas mileage for a full tank that you've seen?
Just want to get a better idea of what to expect from this car. Also not sure why the mileage shown on the sticker changed from 25/28 to 22/25.
If I can average 24-25, I'd be really happy as that would be a noticeable improvement over my current car...
Thanks!

It's all about how you drive, the conditions you drive in, tire inflation, mods, etc. I have found on my '10, when I am on the open road, I can get 26-28 MPG's. That number comes down to around 20-22 with mixed driving. I have never had to do bumper to bumper, all city driving in this car. So I can't speak to that. I would image though, that you would still get around 20-22 MPG's on average in the city. Remember, the gas tank is only 17 gallons and some change. So if you go as low as 19 on the low side in the city, and 28 on the high side on the highway, you are looking at 340 and 476 on a tank. And before someone hammers me with my numbers, I am speaking from MY experience with MY car based on MY driving habits. It should be about the same for everyone.

No idea where the 22/25 rating came from. Most of the time I drive with light pedal (both brake and gas). It's important for fuel mileage. But at least once every 25 miles I have the pedal to the floor for extended periods of time. Most of my driving is in the city/suburban area. All of that and I still end up with a tank average in between 24 and 25 mpg.
It's all about how you drive. light on the accelerator. very light on the brake. Pedal to the floor when needed. It's fun.
