Default Brake Question

Guys i need to change my brakes for sure...now im not sure about my rotors.
I looked up tirerack.com but they have nothing for the gs450h

Are the brakes and rotors the same for the gs 350 and gs450h? or the gs460 and gs450h?

Also,is it the same procedure when changing them like on other cars or is it different? What should i look out for???

Thanx so much for your help.

Dean

Same, just that we regenerative braking. I purchased my rotors from Adams rotors. Unless your trying to stay stock if so than use Sewell Lexus they will be a little cheaper, than dealership.

Same as GS 350 and 460 but not 300 the 300 is a 2-piston and our brakes are 4-piston also we have regenerative braking. So the brake may be a little different but the concept is the same we have the same brake calipers as the GS 460 and GS 350.

what do you mean the brake could be a little bit different??
When looking it up on tirerack.com there is nothing for the gs450h.But everything for the 350 and 460.
My question is,that when i order my pads and discs,do i refer to the GS 350 model? Is that what i can ask for?

Thanx.

rotors from the GS350 should fit our GS450h. but having said that, you should confirm with sewell lexus before you buy it. sewell's website: http://lexus.sewellparts.com/index.php

You can use the GS 350 but needs to be RWD model. Your best bet is Sewell Lexus as they are not expensive once you sign up for an account and use Clublexus for the discounts.

Just keep in mind. The brakes and hardware encompassing the brakes. Have zero, nada, zip to do with the regeneration of power.

Input and output of energy rests entirely upon the transmission, inverter, and battery.
