Default 12v Battery died

Just wanted to go to the shop to get my brake pads, filters and oil change for my 100k km revision. Since I had trouble with one of my headlights going off, I turned the lights ON from AUTO and forgot them on. That was last night.

Today, the car won't start. Tried a few times, a bit of sound but nothing. Tried again, now the button won't go green and the car won't lock it's doors. Just called a tow service to get me to the shop, jump start and check the battery.

Any advice? It's going to be a long 2 hours...

12v is in the trunk left side. Couple of clips holding a cover down.

Get a jumper on it. Turn the car on, but don't start it. put in neutral. Use the Pbrake when you park but leave in neutral. This way you can push the car around if needed.

Obviously put back into Park when the battery is changed out.

Update: Managed to jump start it after about 20-25 minutes. Tried powering it on and off multiple times and I was about to give up and the guy wanted to leave. FINALLY at the very last try it started and I was super relieved. Otherwise I would have gone through a lot of bother and trouble to get it fixed.

My fuel consumption has been reset like everything else - music, heater settings, etc..

I drove for about 20-30 minutes to charge it. Beside that, I left the other batteries at 2 lines so the engine will immediately kick in (when it stalled I had ~6 lines and it was on pure electric). Not sure if what I did is right. I accelerated fast multiple times, cruised, braked hard, slow, just about everything since I couldn't figure out what's the best way to recharge the previously dead battery.

My main concern was about running on pure electric - would that help recharge? Anyway, it's about 7 PM here and I'm thinking of maybe taking it out again at about 8:30 - 9 PM to double check if everything is alright.

I never made it to the shop, phoned them and one part they ordered for me didn't arrive so I will go tomorrow. What do you guys think is the best strategy after a jump start on a hybrid?

You can make the engine come on by hitting and holding the gas for a second or two.

I would check to make sure your battery is good.
