GS450h oil change help

Anyone done their own oil change on the GS450h yet?
The filter is a little odd (same as GS460 apparently), and I have NO IDEA where it is on the engine.

The owners manual is of no help, so if anyone has done it I would appreciate any help.

Sticky at the top of the 3GS forum. 3GS Frequently Asked Questions and DIY Thread - Please look here first! (Multi-page thread 1 2)

Just remember you have a 3.5l V6 like the GS350 and IS350. Those cars are closer related to yours than a 460 is.

anyone tried 0w-20 for the gs450h? i was thinking of switching it if I bought this vehicle and then do an oil analysis after. Of course my driving style will be max MPG and with an occasional little fun ;)

been running Petronas 7000 0w20 for the last 2 years. It's like water so will get round better on cold starts...downside is it may drain out faster, especially from the VVT cams. So far...I've had no issues to speak of. Oil and filters every 6-7k...just because I buy it cheap and I do mainly sub 5 mile trips to and from work.

From what I've read, most dealerships put 0w-20 in all hybrids, regardless of the fact that the 3rd gen gs hybrid was spec'd for 5w-30 (except for 2010-2011 I think...?)

Used the TGMO 0w-20 until 3 months into ownership (got it June last year) when I got a pending for the vvt-i exhaust side solenoid. That was during a... spirited hill climb in 30 degrees celsius weather so I guess that might've been too much for it, but still.

Depends on your use case, I guess. I went straight to bg engine flush + amsoil sse 5w-30 (apparently cleans really well), changed 3000 miles later to redline 5w-30. Maaaybe quieter starts (extremely subjective) on the 5w-30, no drop in fuel economy whatsoever. I also barely get any random cold start shakes, but that's with 2 cans of bg44k + amsoil pi + running 100 octane (top tier here, equiv. to 93 US I think, lowest tier is supposedly equiv. to 91... but I doubt it in my country) so I can't make comments on that.

...and now it seems that archoil 9300 is discontinued ^_^

I might be a bit crazy.
