Default 400H Rear Hatch

Hi there,

Great board! Very informative. I was hoping that I could find a way to turn of the annoying beep when my hatch opens or closes with the auto function? any help would be greatly appreciated!

Your dealer can do it. It is supposed to be part of the customization options that can only be programmed by the dealer.

yeah, take it to your dealer to get it program. not sure if you can do it yourself though. my dealer helps me switch from 3 beeps to 1 beeps when using the auto close. I think it is much safter to have a beep to warn people.

There is a small button switch on the glove box door frame. This can be put in the opposite direction by pushing on it. This will shutoff the beeping and the power for the automatic control.
You can then open and close manually at will. Hope this helps

You can simply unplug the buzzer in the rear hatch by prying the panel away in the lower right part of the hatch (under the 400h emblem) and disconnect the connector. It will still beep up front like when you lock/unlock the doors with the remote, but it's quieter than having the rear buzzer on too.
