Jace, you would have to do a search to determine the exact end of the wire because that's like me posting the entire mod in this thread. If you recall, there was a reason why I removed my original how-to post. That said, a little mouse told me that it MIGHT be the purple end coming from the car to the connector and the white/silver end coming from the connector to the car.

So what is the NAV override for the 07 GS350? i have tried the override that works for the 06 but it does not work for my car. this is the one im talking about. what am i doing wrong?
) Press "Menu" button
2) Press "Volume" on the Nav Screen"

3) Press the "speaker" picture on the top left screen

4) Press the bottom left corner of the screen (it's blank, nothing there)

5) Repeat steps 3 & 4
6) A screen should now Appear w/ several functions
7) Find the "Override" button and hold until you hear a "beep"

8) The Override button letters should now be in black as the others are white

9) Press the Back button and you are ready to go!

i am not referring to the screen hack for the 5.1 firmware NAV.
I am referring to the actuall cutting of the wires for the NAV/VSS/DVD hack.

is there one what? actual cutting of the wires hack for an 07 350?
or a touchscreen hack for the 07 350?

If you're referring to the touchscreen hack, only if you have a v5.1. NOT v6.1.

If you are referring to the cutting of the wires hack.... ya every car it can be done...Just have to be good with electrical and have patience.

Default DVD in Motion Blues

Hi. I was wondering if you could have any input for me concerning my desired "car in motion" DVD use. In regards to being able to watch a DVD with picture while the car is in motion, all one would need to do is cut and ground the yellow wire in order to trick the car into thinking that the parking brake is set. Is it then possible to enter the code into the nav that enables the user to operate the nav functions while moving rather than cutting the purple wire which de-activates the DSS and messes up other important controls? Thanks for any input and feedback.

Most likely, if you don't care about the NAV scrolling smoothly, you have to CUT two wires.

The yellow and ground the proper side....
AND the purple of that same cluster. <<<<(this is the wire that cuts off the picture when you start driving.....)

There are two bypasses to just watch movies while driving if you don't care about the scroll speed with the NAV.

If you do care about the NAV, there is one other cut, then a connect of that wire to another.... or a switch is then needed....

Do a search. it's your friend... try "DVD MOD" or "DVD HACK" or something along those lines.
