Where is the OBDII connector on GS450h?
I just got a GS450h and not being able to see the rpms, specially when doing manual downshifts for engine braking, is driving me crazy. So I got this gagdet called the ScanGauge II that plugs in to the OBDII connector and gives me a ton of real time data including rpms. Does anybody know where the OBDII connector is on the 2007 GS? Thanks

Right above the driver's left knee, under the dash. There is a black cover that says OBD -II. I also have a scanning tool, but can't seem to get them to talk and show info from the car. Let me know how successful you are. Thanks ;-)

Thanks for the info. I plugged in the ScanGauge II and it stablished communication with the car right away. I had to set up the scanner in "Hybrid" mode otherwise it would turn off when the rpms hit zero. It probably thought the car was off.
So far it works like a charm. It's so weird seeing the RPMs be zero while the car is moving. I was also surprised how relaxed the engine is at highway speeds. The engine turns only about 1500rpm when going 70mph. At first glance, when accelerating 50kW translates to about 2000-2200rpm and 100kW to about 3000-3200rpm. I haven't seen the rpms beyond 100Kw because I'm still breaking the car in.
